I took a student loan from Edfinancial Student Loan Services. I took the loan out XX/XX/XXXX. It was {$1700.00}. I then paid for this loan on XX/XX/XXXX. I closed the bank account that I paid for loan with a few months later. Edfinancial did not start calling or emailing me that they " did not receive my payment '' until late XXXX. I was told during one phone call that the money was returned to me, even though I never received the money back into my account. They then told me XX/XX/XXXX that they did not receive the money due to " insufficient funds. '' This is untrue because I had sufficient funds in the bank account from the time of payment.
