Statement shows consumer closed account and this account was then charged off by Wells Fargo four months later, around XXXX XXXX. * Credit Reporting late payments on credit bureaus, If this secured credit card had a balance, I, the consumer, would not have been allowed to close my account. * Where did the $ XXXX balance come from if this was a closed account? * Normally, accounts must have a XXXX balance in order for the Consumer to Close an account. If account was closed by consumer, where did the balance that was charged off by Wells Fargo come from?
