Consumer Narrative

" Method of Verification Dispute Notice : Remove these Fraudulent Accounts, Inquiries & Inaccurate Personal Information. The banking system is contingent upon equitable and accurate credit reporting, as stated in the equitable Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S. Code 1681 ). The banking system 's efficacy is directly impacted by inaccurate credit reports, and the public 's confidence is undermined by unfair credit reporting methods, which are essential for the system 's continued operation. Therefore, the efficiency of the finance system is compromised whenever the FCRA is violated. This is a violation of my privacy with respect to my consumer report, as I have the authority to determine which items are included and which are not. Identity theft is the act of reporting any accounts without my written consent. This is a violation of both 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( 2 ) and 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2. This results in civil liability against the credit reporting agency for negligent and willful noncompliance under 15 U.S. Code 1681n. The law permits a {$1000.00} fine per violation for each account listed without my expressed written assent. I reviewed my consumer reports and observed accounts that I had never granted anyone permission to report. Consumer reporting agencies have taken on a critical role and are obligated to report consumer information with the utmost accuracy, as the Fair Credit Reporting Act explicitly stipulates. I did not provide written consent to report them. I am expressing my dissatisfaction with the contents of the attached file. "
