Starting in XXXX of 2024 received phone calls every day from a random number that would leave a voicemail stating whats called the XXXX XXXX but no further information. I work weird hours so I was able to contact the collection agency and ask who it was for and they said me which had me shocked because I didnt receive any mail regarding it. The account was underneath my maiden name at Hollis Cobb Associates I made a phone call on XX/XX/year> and I spoke with XXXX? Around XXXX pm eastern time, requesting to validate the debt because I never received anything in the mail. She said she could email it the next day, took my email and said to check it over the next 3 days. Checked my email for XXXX weeks and didnt receive anything, so I figured they would mail out a copy instead as that is my right. After waiting another week I followed up on XX/XX/year> and spoke with XXXX at around XXXX XXXX time and she said that she couldnt request another to be mailed or emailed because the account was supposedly closed and I already received the first one. I explained to her that I didnt, that Ive checked my email and mail throughly and nothing was received. She supposedly has to get it approved from her manager to request another validation notice and when I asked for a physical copy instead she said no because its already been sent out it goes via email. She supposedly sent one again and Ive checked my email and still nothing. I just want a breakdown of the amount instead of paying a random number with no details.
