I have a collections amount of {$6500.00} on my credit bureau reports listed as under collections from Jefferson Capital, and I do not recognize this debt, which showed up unexpectedly to me. I searched back in my communications and only found an old email from them attempting to communicate the debt, and have received no further communications from them about this either by mail or phone. I attempted to dispute this account through credit bureaus twice and was told there was no change to the account. I would like to receive debt verification for this account and would like to see documentation that this debt belongs to me and they are legally in possession of the debt.
