Consumer Narrative
Due directly to XXXX medical complications in XXXX I fell behind in paying my XXXX credit cards and XXXX personal loan from TD bank. XXXX and XXXX were the XXXX credit cards Ive kept in contact with all XXXX creditors, asking for time to recover from XXXX hospitalizations and lasting medical conditions that kept me from working. I finally got better, regained my confidence and health after being in and out of the hospital for just over a XXXX, then worked XXXX jobs to collect enough money to pay these XXXX credit card accounts off and TD personal loan without claiming bankruptcy. I called XXXX XXXX, XXXX and TD bank personally on XX/XX/year> and settled XXXX XXXX accounts in individual settlements, XXXX XXXX I owed XXXX and settled in agreement for XXXX. With XXXX I owed XXXXXXXX and settled that account for XXXX. And TD bank I owed about XXXX and settled for XXXX Attached are pics of those settlements. In the discussions with each creditor, each one agreed that in making the payment to settle these accounts, each creditor, capital XXXX, XXXX and TD bank all agreed when I ask that they would stop reporting negative information on my credit report. This was accepted by each creditor after learning of my illness with XXXX XXXX and by medical battle which was directly related to this falling behind on my payments. I had a XXXX XXXX score prior to being affected by XXXX and this sickness caused my credit to drop to, at XXXX point, a XXXX. After finally able to return to work, working XXXX jobs to pay my creditors and any debt off, these XXXX creditors understood what I was going through, knowing that late payments can stay on my credit report for up to XXXX years, they understood what I went threw, respected I was willing to work and pay my debts off and agreed to stop/ not report any further negative or potentially negative information to my credit reports. This would allow me to move on with my life and regain my financial stability. As of XXXX, all XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX and even TD bank who reports XXXX ( XXXX potentially negative information items on my credit reports but it only should be the XXXX personal loan account is hurting me financially. Im being denied credit, housing assistance and paying higher car insurance premiums due to a low XXXX score directly because these XXXX creditors continue to report theses accounts which were settled, closed and paid either I full or settled for less then which was owed continuing to report potentially negative information on my credit reports to date. Ive also have had a difficult time getting health care coverage due to poor XXXX score which is XXXX XXXX. If these creditors were to do what they promised and told me they would have done, the negative information would not be seen today and I would have a much better XXXX score. This would allow me more opportunities for public housing, credit and a better quality of life. I think this is outrageous and unethical and am hoping for your assistance to resolve or help get these potentially negative information removed from these XXXX accounts that have been paid, settled and closed in a agreement settlement and with the verbal agreement of stop reporting negative information on my credit report as related to these settled accounts. This would not be allowed unless the creditor agreed to do so which they all three did after informing them of my situation. Please help
