I am writing this letter to get reassurance on an ongoing investigation. I have disputed an account that was charged off 2 times already. The first dispute was on XX/XX/XXXX of 2024. There was inaccurate information on my account that showed 2 charge offs in 2 different dates and then after the dispute the credit bureau modified it and stated it was updated. They did not remove it due to inaccurate information. The second dispute on the same account was on XX/XX/XXXX of 2024. I was able to provide a payoff letter from the 3rd party collection agency " XX/XX/XXXX '' I sent the payoff letter that stated I had no obligation of the account as part of the 2nd dispute, but was not approved for deletion and the information was remained as a charge off. They had incorrect information the first dispute and then also showed a payoff letter as proof and did not want to assist by removing the inaccurate information off my report. Please let me know if further is needed in order to have this removed off my account. Thank you!
