To Whom It May Concern : I am writing to dispute an item on my credit report. The item in question is : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ref # XXXX I believe this item is inaccurate and should be removed from my credit report for the following reasons : 1. The debt collector has failed to validate this debt as required by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), 15 USC 1692g. 2. I pulled out of the bk and never completed the process. Started back paying my debt Under the FDCPA, specifically 15 USC 1692e ( 8 ), it is a violation to report information to a credit reporting agency that you know or should know to be inaccurate. As such, I request that you investigate this matter and remove the item from my credit report. Please provide me with the results of your investigation within 30 days, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
