Transunion ( only credit reporting agency to do so ) has published derogatory information on my credit report as a result of fraudulent collection attempts by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The basis of the derogatory comments is a result of XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I signed a lease with a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) at XXXX XXXX XXXX South, XXXX, TN. The lease specifically stated that utilities would be billed individually by unit and XXXX XXXX XXXX on attached lease, page XXXX of XXXX -item # XXXX. Upon noticing that my utility bill was escalating dramatically on a month-to-month basis ( example-gas increased for ~ $ XXXX to over $ XXXX ) I questioned management on why this was happening. After weeks of no response, residents received a notice via email ( attached ) that utilities would be " allocated '' across all residents, and this was now a term of the lease. This unilateral decision to alter voided the lease and also left it illusory. After not receiving any response from management questioning this move, and fearing other unilateral alterations, I choose to move out given the voided lease. XXXX then contracted with XXXX XXXX XXXX to attempt collection who began contacting me for unwarranted and illegitimate collection. On XX/XX/XXXX I requested all relevant lease documents ( including XXXX notice to tenants and unilateral modifications to the lease ) as well as all email correspondence between myself and XXXX management. I received no information and XXXX XXXX XXXX efforts ceased. In XXXX of XXXX I noticed a significant drop ( from XXXX to XXXX ) in my XXXX XXXX, driven by the derogatory remark posted by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TransUnion site XXXX My dispute to TransUnion was rejected. This is a result of inadequate research on the part of TransUnion and lack of transparency by XXXX XXXX. I will also be filing a complaint against XXXX and XXXX.
