Consumer Narrative
I reviewed my credit report in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, and noticed that many things were incomplete and inaccurate. I am aware that by law, the credit bureau has a duty to report with maximum accuracy. XX/XX/year> I sent letters to this credit reporting agency by certified mail asking them to investigate the completeness and accuracy of those accounts. They then proceeded to ignore my requests and hit me with stall statics. They said that they felt like my disputes were not submitted by me and to prove that it was. I called them and confirmed that it was indeed me that submitted the requests to verify this incomplete and inaccurate accounts reporting, and informed them that by law I have a right to request this. They informed me that they would push my disputes through. This is the tracking number XXXX. According to 15 USC 1681e ( b ) it states this : Accuracy of reporting. Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. On XX/XX/year> I sent new letters certified mail asking them to provide me with the description of the investigations according to 15 USC 1681 ( 7 ) : Description of investigation procedure states : A consumer reporting agency shall provide a consumer a description referred to in paragraph ( 6 ) ( b ) ( iii ) by no later than 15 days after receiving request from the consumer for that description. They have not done this either, again, breaking the law. They are also breaking these laws : According to 15 USC 1681 ( 5 ) it states that this treatment of inaccurate or unverified information. ( A ) In general if after any reinvestigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the consumer reporting agency shall ( i ) promptly delete that item of information from the file of the consumer, or modify that item of information, as appropriate based on the results of the reinvestigation, and ( ii ) promptly notify the furnisher of that information that the information has been modified or deleted from the file of that consumer. According to 15 USC 1681s-2 it states ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors : A persons shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors. A personal shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any reporting agency if the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices that specific information is inaccurate and the information is in fact inaccurate. They have not done or fixed anything. I showed them multiple ways how these accounts are inaccurate, incomplete, and unverified. They are breaking federal law. In the attached documents I have outlined all of the inaccuracies and incompletion in reporting as well as the laws violated. I have included all of my identification documents as well as the documents I sent to them. You all will see that they are illegally reporting this information and deliberately not fixing it. I will be forced to get a lawyer and sue for damages if they do not follow the law.
