In conjunction with an earlier complaint ( CFPB Complaint ID : XXXX ) to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX refuses to report accurate account status and balance information to credit reporting agencies, specifically Experian. In their response to CFPB Complaint ID : XXXX on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX claims that their office is still looking into this matter ; however, their claims is inconsistent with the facts : 1. A signed statement from a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX retail branch manager, XXXX XXXX, on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX details the transaction that paid the loan in question, including a statement transaction from XXXX to present. 2. A collection agency called : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, which was hired by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to manage the same account reported the account is paid and the balance is {$0.00} on or before the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX days before XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX responded to CFPB that their office is looking into it. Note : a separate complaint was filed against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with the Washington State Department of Licensing in order to force compliance from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to accurately report account status and balance information in a timely manner. XXXX. XXXX updated the same account information on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX. On the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reported to Experian that the account in question was unpaid, and the balance remained {$3100.00}. A copy of that dispute report is included here for reference. Altogether, this clearly proves that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is willfully violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ).
