I received a notification from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX that a payment was more than 30 days late on my card. I immediately checked my emails and found that I never received my e-statement either. A late payment charge of {$41.00} was charged to my Target RedCard Mastercard account on XX/XX/year>. The late payment that was reported to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so I contacted them via phone where a message played stating they were having technical issues with their payment system. Once I spoke with someone they refused to do anything even though I also immediately paid the balance in full. I also requested my original credit limit of {$6000.00} be reestablish because they also reduced it to {$500.00} but that was not done either. These actions were all taken in XX/XX/year> because I have e-billing statements and did not receive a bill via email for the month of XX/XX/year> and as a result the payment was not made until XX/XX/year> when I was notified by XXXX of a payment that was XXXX days late. I contacted Target RedCard customer service and I was informed that while there had been technical issues at the time with the website and payment system there was nothing they could do to correct the payment history, credit reporting, or my credit limit. I then sent a dispute letter and nothing was done to correct their error which resulted in false information continued to be reported to the credit bureaus which has ruined my credit score and ability to obtain credit from other companies.
