I was the victim of attempted identity theft recently, and put a fraud alert across the XXXX bureaus throu XXXX. I froze my credit with XXXX and XXXX, but I have been trying to freeze my credit with Experian for days now, with no results, and no way to do it. When I call the Experian phone number, the automated system will not put me through to a live person, and directs me to the website. The Experian website does not let me create an account so that I can freeze my credit, or do anything else for that matter. It gives a message " Sorry... we're experienceng technical difficulties. We have been notified about this and are working to resolve this. '' I have attempted to create an account to freeze my computer from multiple computers, multiple web browsers, from multiple locations, for days, urgently, and it's the same error message, and the same inability to create the freeze on the phone. The other 2 bureaus were quick and easy, but Experian is impossible. It's a loop. Please, can somebody help with this?
