Bread Financial changed their banking software system as of XX/XX/24. They no longer accept bill payments from banks, personal checks or bank checks. They will only pull from your personal accounts to pay your loan. I previously was paying from my XXXX XXXX bill pay without any issues. XXXX XXXX now is sending a printed bank check to pay the bill and Bread is not accepting or crediting me the payments towards my loan. My account is now in default, as they only pull payments from accounts. I never let anyone pull from my persoanl accounts, either I send a digital payment or check. I can't believe in this digital age a bank can change to a system which causes consumers hardships in paying their loans off. It doesn't sound right and I need assistance to get this straightened out
