On XX/XX/year>, I deposited a check for {$7500.00} into my checking account from my mother. I was told part of the check would be held until XX/XX/year> and the rest would be available on XX/XX/year>. On XX/XX/year>, after the fraud department closed at XXXX XXXX, I received an email stating my checking and saving accounts would be closed because I presented a check that couldn't be verified. Then, I was told the check would be available on XX/XX/year>. Either the check could be verified or it couldn't be verified. Wells Fargo is participating in illegal activity, yet again, by claiming they couldn't verify information to justify holding funds for longer than 5 business days plus attempting to capture my funds. They need to closed and banned from doing any business at all.
