On Monday, XX/XX/year>, I attempted to update my personal information with Experian ( a phone number ), so that I could place a freeze on my account. After spending many minutes and calling XXXX different numbers, I was not able to place a freeze. They have an old phone number in their system, so I can not access my account to place a freeze due to recent fraudulent activity using my personal information online. Experian 's system will not allow me to talk to a real live human being, so I have no way of placing a freeze unless I do so in writing. I need to place a freeze immediately ; submitting a request in writing in NOT sufficient as it is not timely and does not offer me the protection I need.
