I fell behind on car note due to XXXX and deaths in my family. Had to put a new engine in the vehicle as well. So I've been playing catch up. I had just paid {$840.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to bring down amount of days behind and catch up on car note. I forgot to set a payment arrangement and received a repossesion notice on Friday the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. Tried calling over and over could not reach anyone even though the web page for XXXX XXXX says they are open until XXXX XXXX on that day and until XXXX XXXX on the XXXX that Saturday. Today is XX/XX/XXXX the following Monday. I call in trying to make a payment. First rep states can't do anything unless {$3500.00} is paid or settle at {$25000.00}. Second rep XXXX states that the repossesion state can be changed but it's not company policy, that they can accept {$2500.00} today then the remaining {$900.00} and change in XXXXen days and that the {$25000.00} is feasible for settlement. I request another higher up. Third representative XXXX of security operations proceeds to deny any prior statements made by her lower team members and states unless XXXX, not even including the fees theyve placed on me, is paid they can not do anything and even though I just made a full payment of {$840.00} the XXXX of XXXX my account was setup for repossesion on the XXXX of XXXX. These people have scammed me out of an extra payment didn't tell me I was in repossession until the XXXX of XXXX and then will not work with me so I can keep my vehicle. The practices of this company are vile and they take advantage of any fault they can to put you into more debt. I got the car in XXXX of XXXX and my payoff is XX/XX/XXXX. At halfway through the loan they could give no reconciliation to help me even though I'm offering to pay now and another full {$840.00} payment by the XXXX of XXXX. I'm tired of companies like this. Something has to be done to stop them from taking advantage of consumers.
