These furnishers continue reporting false, inaccurate information on my credit report. XXXX, XXXX and Equifax continues to report the inaccurate information on my credit report that violations of my rights under the FCRA. In addition, here are some of the laws that continue to be broken at my expense! - Per Section 623 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 : A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. - Per Section 623 ( a ) and 623 9 ( a ) ( 2 ) : Duties After Notice of Dispute from Consumer. If a consumer notifies a furnisher, at an address specified by the furnisher for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate, and the information is, in fact, inaccurate, the furnisher must thereafter report the correct information to CRAs. - Per Section 623 ( a ) ( 5 ) : Duty of furnishers to provide date of delinquency on charge-off, collection or similar accounts.
