XX/XX/XXXX I was alerted to a change in my credit report. When seeing the report it was for my ex husband 's mortgage that is solely in his name. He assumed the mortgage in XX/XX/XXXX when we divorced. I provided the assumption paperwork via email, fax and postal mail and have been calling weekly to biweekly to them with no resolution to the problem. I also contacted original mortgage company who no longer has any record of that account. They suggested filing a complaint with ex husband 's current mortgage company. I filed a report last week and was supposed to have a follow up return call within 1-2 business days and never received one. I have been calling and checking the status once to twice a week since submitting all of my documents to them back in XXXX with absolutely no resolution or explanations of why this is taking so long to handle.
