I am disputing the collection notice for unpaid lease charges at The XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/year>, XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) confirmed in writing that these charges are for my former roommate, AFTER I vacated. I've provided proof of release, and she assured this will be rectified. ProCollect sent me a letter claiming they've taken steps to address the issue by canceling the account as a collection item and requesting its removal from the credit bureaus, but since then my credit score dropped XXXX points due to this. Nothing has been resolved. They don't answer my emails. This was NEVER my debt! They never even contacted me about it.
