XXXX XXXX [ XXXX XXXX XXXX ] XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/year> Consumer Financial Protection Bureau [ XXXX XXXX XXXX ] [ XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX ] Dispute of Collection Agency Violating Rights I am writing to file a formal complaint against [ MRS BPO LLC ] regarding their practices that I believe are violating my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). On XXXX XXXX, 2024, I received a collection notice from [ MRS BPO LLC ], claiming that I owe [ {$2200.00} ] for [ XXXX ]. Upon reviewing the notice, I have identified XXXX instances where I believe XXXX XXXX has violated my rights as a consumer : Failure to Validate Debt : Despite my request for validation of the debt in writing within XXXX days of their initial contact, MRS has not provided any documentation substantiating the debt but yet they placed a collection under my consumer report. This violates 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ) which states that during the validation period, debt collectors can not engage in any collection activities or communications that contradict or overshadow the consumer 's right to dispute the debt. This also includes the right to request the original creditor 's name and address FAILURE TO DISPUTE : I was never given a chance to dispute the account according to 12 CFR 1006.34 ( c ) ( 4 ) ( i ) MRS BPO LLC is violating my rights by by using false misleading misrepresentation and deceptive means MRS has no authority to furnish any account to a consumer reporting agencies without providing any and all disclosures required by law and they are in clear violation of 12 CFR 1006.34 ( d ) and 15 USC 1681-S2 ( 7 ) ( A ) Enclosed with this letter are copies of relevant correspondence are records of communication attempts. I request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action against [ MRS BPO LLC ] for their violations of the FDCPA. I also request that [ MRS BPO LLC ] cease all collection activities against me until this matter is resolved.
