I did not solicit this loan. My husband received an unsolicited letter in the mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX offering a pre-approved personal loan up to {$72000.00}. The offer states that rates start at 5.59 % APR. It is a time sensitive offer that expires XX/XX/year>. I am involved in the banking industry and was interested in the terms of the offer, so I read the fine print on the back of the letter. What was highly disturbing was the interest rates described on the back of the letter as follows : " This offer is for an unsecured, closed-end personal loan by a participating lender through Kuber Financial , LLC XXXX XXXX. All approved loans are made by a third-party, participating lender, not by XXXX. Loan amounts and loan terms, within the offer parameters, may vary depending upon borrower creditworthiness and lender requirements. Depending upon the lender to which a responding consumer is referred, the loan amount will be between {$5000.00} and {$75000.00} with interest rates ranging from 6.40 % and 299.00 % APR ... '' YIKES!!!
