I went to Art Institute from XXXX, the school falsely projected likelihood of success after graduation including expected income and job placement along with job placement services that we'd be privy to in our last semester and after becoming alumni. I have already had my federal loans forgiven because of this, there was a nationwide case over this. I have spent the last 14 years in financial hardship unable to find work in the field of my study due to Art Institute 's rampant and irresponsible over promises and under deliveries. Art Institute released a plethora of under educated artists into multiple fields to compete against competent art student graduates from other institutions which made finding jobs in our own fields impossible. At the end of XX/XX/year> to beginning of XX/XX/year> I found and filled out a XXXX page application that was called a School Misconduct Discharge application, which sounded like it covered exactly the situation I was in. I spent days filling it out, cited sources, including the literature I had that falsely projected their income and job placement statistics. About a month later, I got emails saying my application was being denied with no specific information as to why. Even with knowing at this point despite the misconduct of the school, I have paid the principle amount I have borrowed, although with their structure almost all the money I have paid has been going to interest doing little to whittle down the amount I owe. At the time of the application these were the numbers I calculated involving my loans through XXXX ( Formerly XXXX ) Total Borrowed between all XXXX loans : {$28000.00} Total Paid between all XXXX loans : {$42000.00} Total Still Owed : {$36000.00}
