Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/year>, I submitted what should have been my last payment to my student loans. I then checked my bank account on XX/XX/year> to ensure they pulled the payment and saw they also pulled the monthly autopayment as well. They could not cancel the autopayment because they said it was already processed even though on my bank it was still pending. Once I reached out to the loan servicer ( EdFinancial ) they said that they had to submit the refund to two different departments for approval before I would even see the refund. They shouldn't have even charged the autopay since it got paid off.
