When I originally contacted Navient regarding school misconduct I received a response stating that I was a candidate to receive a misconduct discharge application- which I did receive from them. I completed & submitted the misconduct application and approximately 30 days later received a blanket/vague letter stating after " carefully considering a variety of factors '' they determined I did not meet the criteria - period. No explanation of how they got to that conclusion, if I needed to provide additional information, etc. I then reached out to their customer service department requesting an explanation - in writing - and I received another vague response telling me I had to call a number and leave a message.
