I was a victim of Identify Theft back in XXXX. I found out when I received bills from XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX. I filed a police report immediately. I also found out fraudster opened a fake credit account with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. My information was leaked through credit bureau data hack. Phone companies made it hard to reach human representative to report and close fraudulent account, even though account was easily made without proper check. Credit bureaus also make it difficult to reach a human representative. I had to fight and spent lots of time and energy. Eventually, I was able to get back my credit bureau accounts. No companies provided compensation for wasting my time and putting me under stress and hardship. XXXX sent fraudulent account to debt collectors and XXXX allows debt XXXX to instantly add collection account to my credit report, even with victim statement. All 3 credit bureaus even have police report on file but still allow collection claim for fraudulent XXXX account. While I need to wait 30 days for an investigation. This fraudulent XXXX account keeps getting passed to new debt collectors and I always need dispute and waste my time. After account is removed, XXXX doesn't restore my credit score to before collection account was on my report. Leaving me to suffer and rebuild my credit score.
