I closed all my accounts with Capital One on XX/XX/year>. After I closed the accounts, my checking account was at a XXXX balance and I made one last payment on my credit card, which reflected the balance in full. I received notice from the bank that my accounts were paid and closed. However, several months later, I received notice from one of the credit agencies that both my Capital One checking account and credit card account were reopened, are showing balances, and are delinquent. Apparently, after I paid my credit account statement in full, Capital One charged me {$25.00} in interest and continued to charge me interest and lates fees month after month because of my " unpaid '' balance. In addition, for my checking account, they apparently reopened my account and allowed a {$39.00} withdrawal, that I disputed as a fraudulent charge and that they gave me credit for months before I closed the account. So not only is my credit card account showing a balance of {$93.00} based on a {$25.00} interest charge that I was unaware of, but my checking account is now showing a negative balance of {$39.00} which was charged off. They are reporting to the credit agency that the accounts are delinquent and that the accounts were closed my them, which I assume is because they reopened the accounts after I closed them and then closed them again. My checking account is showing as " restricted ''. I closed both accounts in XX/XX/year> and both accounts were in good standing at that time. Further, after I closed my accounts, I moved out of state and changed my phone number. I never received any notice from Capital One that they reopened my accounts. After I received notice from the credit agency that my accounts were delinquent, I called Capital One and asked them to waive all the fees and they refused to. This is abusive and unfair practices.
