I have conducted business with Tower Loan for years with no problem. When my husband became ill I had to quit my job and stay home with him. I took a huge pay cut when I did return to work and I got behind on my bills and thought I was making a good choice by doing a debt reduction through Beyond Finance. It was a huge mistake but I've too far In to change. Tower Loan refused to participate and I tried to keep up with the monthly payments. This company harassed me for months. They came to my home and left letters open so anyone could see my business. They spoke to 3rd parties about my account. XXXX weeks ago I sent them a partial payment with letter stating it was all I could pay. On Wednesday I was served papers dated XX/XX/XXXX swing me adding XXXX XXXX attorney fees. No warning no certified letter nothing. This company has no regard for their customers safety or privacy. I want to counter sue for harassment and invasion of privacy. Please advise on steps to take.
