I received a bill ( {$86.00} ) for a phone service I didn't use and don't owe. In XXXX, I bought an XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX with the option to return it within 14 days if unsatisfied with the service or the phone. I returned the phone within that timeframe without using the service for the full 14 days. It's unethical for me to receive a bill for the subsequent month after cancelling my service and returning the phone. The service had been cancelled. I believe this bill was received because the manger ( at the local store ) was furious that I left a XXXX review about my experience at his store. The company admits their error but hasn't offered any resolution they say due to the time that has passed since the incident. Then, to fast-forward to the collections company ( Sunrise Credit Services ) I received a letter informing me that I had a debt, and if I wish to contest it, I should respond within a certain timeframe. Which I did respond by email on XX/XX/XXXX and did not receive a response from the company.
