XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Comenity Capital Bank ) I received my credit card statement due on XX/XX/2024, with a balance of {$500.00}. I paid it in full ( {$500.00} ) and they received the payment on XX/XX/2024. I made no other purchases. I get another bill now in XXXX due XX/XX/2024, charging me interest of {$8.00}. I called them on the phone on XX/XX/2024 ( XXXX ) at XXXXXXXX XXXX. the woman told me that was interest on the {$500.00}. I explained that was not on my statement and they should not have charged me. I ask her how this is legal. She said I should have called someone if I was paying the total amount so I could get a pay off amount. I have never had to deal with something like this before. I feel they were hoping I thought my card was paid off so now they could get a late charge of {$41.00} also. I went to the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at the XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2024. I went to customer service, and they said they do not deal with any credit card problems. So I paid the {$8.00} in cash and got my receipt. I just wanted tom make sure they got this payment before they m could charge me a late charge. I will not longer use my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
