On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX I called Sofi Bank to request a verification of deposit letter that will be used to verify funds for use with US Immigration and Customs Services. Customer service states that they need a blank pdf indicating which information should be provided. They say they can not just generate a VOD. USCIS does not provide a template, they accept private bank VODs generated by a bank XXXX. I emailed them a pdf with the information I neede to the email provided and today, XX/XX/XXXX, received a response stating that my request could not be fulfilled until I sent them a fillable pdf that was XXXX compatible. I believe this undo labor for a client in order to receive information about their own account. This is also limiting for clients who are not tech savvy or who are XXXX in some way and are not able to create their own pdf.
