On XX/XX/year>, Wells Fargo asked me to close my account by bringing my account balance to zero because I was a non-resident. However, I was prevented from transferring my money out of this account to my other USD bank account because of non-resident accountholder restrictions. Wells Fargo XXXX assistance said they would send me a check instead. I explained that my XXXX bank was no longer accepting USD checks and requested that payment be made electronically to my nominated USD account. No check was received, nor any transfer to my nominated USD account. I reiterated my request to Wells Fargo by later telephone, but they were unable to help as they could not find a specialist to assist. I re-submitted my request in writing to Wells Fargo with nominated account details via my Wells Fargo online banking portal. On XX/XX/year>, the balance of my savings account was reduced to XXXX with no explanation or advice from Wells Fargo as to where this money disappeared. Wells Fargo has closed my online banking portal and is unable to explain by telephone where the money went or why it was not transferred to my electronic account.
