XX/XX/year> XXXX is reporting a Bankruptcy on my credit report and they have put in the Data furnisher as being the XXXX BANKRUPTCY XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Which is false. I have attached a letter from the XXXX BANKRUPTCY XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Verifying and stating that they do not furnish information over to the credit bereaus or any credit monitoring service nor do they verify or validate any information concerning bankruptcies. Equifax is falsely stating this information on my credit report and have yet to remove it from my credit report. I contacted the court, and their response is enclosed. ( See attached letter ) It is clear they do not report to any Credit Bureau for that matter ; therefore, their initial response verifying the item with the court was either an error or a lie. Either way, the reporting requirements do not comply with FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681I ), and the information must be deleted immediate Your prompt attention to this matter is requested in order to comply with federal law.
