LexinNexis- is reporting a Bankruptcy on my credit report and they have put in the Data furnisher as being the U.S. BANKRUPTCY COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF GEORGIA . Which is false. I have attached a letter from the U.S. BANKRUPTCY COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF GEORGIA. Verifying and stating that they do not furnish information over to the credit bureaus or any credit monitoring service nor do they verify or validate any information concerning bankruptcies. Lexis Nexis is falsely stating this information on my credit report and have yet to remove it from my credit report. I contacted the court, and their response is enclosed. It is clear they do not report to any Credit Bureau for that matter ; therefore, their initial response verifying the item with the court was either an error or a lie. Either way, the reporting requirements do not comply with FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681A ) ( A Right to privacy ), and the information must be deleted immediate. I contacted the court, and their response is enclosed. ( See attached letter ) It is clear they do not report to any Credit Bureau for that matter ; therefore, their initial response verifying the item with the court was either an error or a lie. Either way, the reporting requirements do not comply with FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681B ) ( Permissable Purpose ), and the information must be deleted immediate. I would like for you to have them take this unvalidateable information off of my credit report. Your prompt attention to this matter is requested in order to comply with federal law.
