My credit report shows that this account was charged off. Thats fine. However, I called Aspire and paid them directly to settle my account in full. Aspire did not report that my account was paid at all, instead, they updated my credit report to show that it was charged off twice. Once AFTER I paid. I disputed this information with XXXX and within 24 hours, Aspire dropped my score another XXXX points with showing the 2nd charge off. I called Aspire and customer service said they could not help me so they transferred me to the Collections Department who told me they are not required to report that an account is paid. Just that it is charged off. I know this to be false. I tried to explain that its false. Aspire is refusing to handle this matter.
