Consumer Narrative

The day that I got paid and was going to make a car payment through an extension request I had a repo man from the company XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX show up to my house I had just received a text message an hour before he showed up..He had not latched on to my vehicle and I had asked him to please leave because I was getting paid today and was going to make a payment on my car but he refused to leave. I then called the finance company Westlake Financial while he was there and stated to them that I was getting paid today and that I had a legal right to ask him to leave. I even told the lady on the phone that I would even make 3x the payment over the phone and she told me that I was wrong and that it is legal to breach the peaceful request I had made for him to leave and to take my property regardless of my request. He also stated that the conversation was being recorded with a camera and I was crying the whole time because he was refusing my request, I have the screenshots of my deposit date and also the phone call to Westlake Financial who also talked to me like I was an XXXX and didn't know my repossession rights. The XXXX XXXX was also belittling me by making snide remarks like " I can just put the latch on your car real quick '' as I was talking to the finance company in regards to him not being attached to my car and how I asked him to leave. She even told me that he needs to get paid for his job so he has to take the car or he doesn't get paid. After about XXXX minutes of crying because he refused to leave. Telling me its legal and he can take it if he wants and that I couldn't stop him I just let him. I was completely respectful to this man..I even called him " Sir '' Once I had contacted Westlake Financial again. The {$230.00} car payment I was going to make that day turned into me having to pay {$7700.00} if I wanted to have the car back in which I was unable to do and was sold at an auction. Keep in mind I paid off half the auto loan up front before even driving it off the lot. I was treated with disrespect from the repo company who kept challenging my rights telling me that he knows the law and went against my wishes for him to leave. This is all recorded from his truck through a camera they use and also, every conversation that Westlake Financial has with me that day is recorded and you will hear how emotionally upset I am with the fact that he is ignoring my wishes and forcefully took my car and when he asked for my key I told him I was going to try and pick up the car ( this is before I knew it would be {$7700.00} to get out ) he told me " That is what they all say '' and then used a scare tactic by telling me I would have to pay {$300.00} if I didn't give them the key
