i made a tax payment by mistake in XXXX of last year after receiving the letter saying last years taxes were due. my mortgage payment reflected the increase and i realised i made the payment in error. i asked the servicer ( revolution mortgage ) to show me the difference and the rep showed me a couple months adjustments and assure me everything was fine. forward to this year i called the treasurers office to see if everything was accurate and they told me there was a double payment made and it was in an account not being applied. I could ask for a refund. i submitted the form as the property owner but it was declined. the reason was my payment posted first and the mortgage servicer payment posted second creating the overage. I was then advised to ask revolution mortgage to submit their form for refund and i did. XXXX XXXX is the rep from revolution mortgage that had been handling my account. i sent him screen shots of the letters from the county treasurer about what had already done and that the ball was in there court to submit the form for refund since my mortgage payment already includes escrow adjustments. he said he sent the form in. this is happening over a period of a year and four months from first contact to now. i called the county treasurer again XX/XX/year> and the rep said NO OTHER ENTITY HAD MAILED IN ANY REQUEST TO REFUND OVERPAYMENTS. i will attach all emails i have. i forwarded the email from the county and he not only wasn't helpful, he proved that he lied about sending the form in which is his duty as mortgage servicer.
