I have provided all four pieces of information and expect these listed accounts to be deleted and blocked within four business days of your receipt of this notice ; otherwise, you are in violation of my rights under the FCRA once again! If you do not initiate an investigation regarding my dispute and delete this information within 4 business days of receiving this notice per 15 USC 1681c-2, as is my right under the FCRA, I will have to take legal action to protect my credit rating and myself. Each violation of the FCRA allows for damages of {$1000.00} should this matter be brought to court. 15 U.S. Code 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) essentially states that if a person willfully violates any requirement of the FCRA with respect to a consumer, they are liable to that consumer for any actual damages suffered as a result. If actual damages can not be determined, the consumer can still receive statutory damages ranging from {$100.00} to {$1000.00}. This provision ensures that consumers are protected and have recourse if their rights under the FCRA are willfully violated.
