On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, I deposited a check in the amount of {$66.00} into my account. The funds are being held until the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. When I asked on XX/XX/XXXX that funds be verified and release, I was told SoFi was unable to do that, but that the check had been processed so funds would be released on the 20th. I requested to speak with an account manager who said the same thing. They were unable to explain why they could not call and verify other than back end handles that, and they are not customer facing. There was absolutely zero other reasoning.
