I opened a credit account with Wells Fargo for XXXX XXXX. I have mailed 2 payments on-time, however, both payment were processed 1 day after the payment was due and I was charged a {$40.00} late fee. I called Wells Fargo about the first {$40.00} late fee and was told the fee would be removed from the account balance. The {$40.00} late fee was removed and a {$29.00} fee was applied without explanation and it was not included in the account detail on the next statement. The charge can only be found in the balance and " Total fees charged in 2024 '' The second payment was also sent on-time and again the payment was processed 1 day after the payment was due. I called again and was told they posted the payment after the due date and I owed the {$40.00} late fee. I was also told they only issue one credit per year on credit accounts. Finally, they said the {$29.00} fee was charged after the {$40.00} late fee was credited and I had to pay that also. I don't owe any fees on this account! I made the payments on time and my bank records show the payments was processed before the Wells Fargo payments were due. Please help me get these invalid charges removed from my Wells Fargo credit account.
