It has been brought to my attention that my father has been paying for XXXX homeowners insurance policies with the company called Freedom Mortgage and I believe that they are taking advantage of the elderly. I have attached the letter. Stating that he gives me permission handling his accounts with Freedom Mortgage letter is attached. I also attached proof that he has been paying for XXXX homeowners policies, XXXX through. XXXX XXXX and the other one is XXXX XXXX. I have called XXXX XXXX and had cancelled them and stated that they will need to refund the payment from XXXX for the year 2023 and 2024. I also submitted a letter to Freedom Mortgage asking them to opt out of the escrow and they have declined. My dad has been a client with them since 2017. And has not been laid on any payments. There is no. Information. Regarding why they declined to cancel the escrow, but I believe it's to continue. Raising his payments, which originally was {$1500.00}, {$1600.00} and now {$1700.00} within this year almost {$1800.00} a month. I'm wondering if there's any way that you guys can help so that he will not have to continue paying this escrow. We will be able to handle paying the insurance and property taxes ourselves without the help of freedom.
