I applied for a home loan, my credit report showed this delinquent credit card at capital one in my name but I've never had a capital one card. So I called capital one and told them there is a fraud/identity theft account in my name and it needs to be eliminated they agreed to freeze/restrict & close the account and open an investigation, but their judgement is pending and they told me this could take months to process.
