Repeated issue when trying to cancel Bed, Bath & Beyond Welcome Rewards Club. Cost is {$19.00} per year ; if you don't " use it '', you " lose it ''. It auto-renews annually via an on-file credit card #. The website makes it difficult to cancel ( no " I want to cancel '' option, just a single on/off button deep in the system and, more importantly, no way to remove credit card info on the website once you agree let them store it/ '' keep my payment preference ''. And if you do select " Do Not Auto-Renew '' and/or call Customer Service to cancel , they still bill you on your anniversary. They claim it's a mistake but since they have your credit card info on file, they bill you anyway as a convenience to busy club members. Then they notify you, via email, after they've billed your credit card and won't give a refund, even if you call the same or next day, because " that's their policy, it's in the legal disclosure you agreed to ''. BB & B needs to make club cancellation easy, clear, and permanent.
