Navient is contacting estranged members of family that are not on the loan in violation of FCRA, and after I emailed and sent by mail a certified copy of the cease and desist of communication ( Navient rejected it and it was returned to sender ). I spoke with a lawyer and they have confirmed that Navient violated the law when they contacted my extended family. I have already communicated with them, that due to our current economic situation that I am unable to pay due to my wife loosing her job and I will resume payments when she finds work. I have repeatedly requested communication by email and/or mail due to hearing difficulties and difficulties with verbal communication from time to time to which they have ignored. I can provide full documentation as well as evidence that Navient has been contacting family members.
