Compensation is sought in this complaint. Consumer reporting agencies are required to follow reasonable procedures to ensure credit reports are as accurate as possible under 15 USC 1681e ( b ). Complaint filed under CFPB XXXX was filed on XX/XX/XXXX, against Equifax due XXXX a tirade of inaccurate information on my credit bureau XXXX XXXX to have been done intentionally, by Equifax, XXXX, and XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, Equifax went into my credit report and begun making numerous changes to the report. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was reporting accurately, Equifax intentionally went into my report and changed the history to XXXX days late for XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank was found guilty of violating the Military Lending Act XXXX XXXX XXXX. Their interest rate far exceeded the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX the CFPB forwarded the complaint to the FDIC in which XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX voided the account as the law requires. Countless disputes went to all three CRA numerous times, in which all began reporting the account XXXX days late, every time I disputed the information, the XXXX day late payment would change to a different month at times Equifax would report the account XXXX days late. About a month ago I wrote the CEO of XXXX XXXX bank and she change the history to reflect correctly. as current Immediately after I filed the complaint on Equifax they retaliated and changed the account to reflect XXXX days late again. XXXX then began changing numerous accounts around within my report and did the exact same thing and changed the information. I called XXXX and they assured me they did not change the information, not only did I get the notification that they did but I look on Equifax website and the information was changed. The representative told me to hold on as I repeatedly ask for an explanation, and she rudely left me holding the phone. See Exhibit No XXXX the attached XXXX reported the account was fixed in XXXX See Exhibit No XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX letter admitting they were in violation of the XXXX See Exhibit No XXXX Equifax was reporting correctly as the bank had already corrected the account See Exhibit No XXXX Equifax retaliated and changed the information to show erroneously late.
