My credit score recently went down by XXXX points and the only thing that changed is EdFinancial decided to start reporting my student loans TWICE and incorrectly so it now looks as if I have more than double the debt. For reference, they have two older reports ( with the last payment showing as XXXX and I just made payments in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, etc ) that show incorrect student loan balances of in excess of {$26000.00} altogether ( one approximately {$9800.00} and the other approximately {$16000.00} ) - these amounts and payments are incorrect and need to be removed from my credit. They ALSO have an entry for approx. {$25000.00} - this is the only correct entry on my credit and includes the ENTIRETY of my student loans. I do not owe over XXXX XXXX XXXX anymore - and they will not fix it. They claim they are unable to even look into it unless I file a dispute with experian first. I have done so but how lazy and cruel? Your ( EdFinancial ) poor accounting and reporting caused my credit to drop by XXXX points while we are shopping for a home for our family and you cant be bothered to fix it unless forced to do so by an outside party? I am extremely disappointed with this servicing company. Please provide more oversight. Perhaps if they remember the watchdog is watching they will behave a bit better.
