Consumer Narrative

I am currently in the process of purchasing a home and had my consumer report ran. Received notification there was a new listed collection account with XXXX XXXX for an alleged debt with XXXX XXXX for {$1600.00}. I reached to the original creditor to dispute the claim. They have a falsely created account that I have never attended and directed me to the collection agency. They were not able to assist the dispute or do any form of due diligence of resolving the issue.
