My accountants email was compromised resulted in 651 attempts to access the account prior to 4 fraudulent transactions in total {$50000.00} removed from the account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) over a 4 day period in late XXXX, XXXX. The accountant who was not an employee of the company had only VIEWING access to the account & never made any financial transactions nor was authorized on the account since inception in over 8 years. Four ( 4 ) transactions were made in 4 days in sums of {$20000.00}, {$5000.00}, {$20000.00}, {$5000.00} + plus a 5th transaction for {$20000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX after the bank were informed the 4 transactions were fraud on XX/XX/XXXX.. The last ( 5th ) transaction was recovered. As CEO of the account/company I never approved the accountant to conduct business on the behalf of the company on this account. The bank have not responded to several requests in over one year to provide a signed authorization for the accountant ( XXXX XXXX ) to conduct transactions on behalf of the company. XXXX XXXX is employed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, who provided monthly statements for the company. My lawyer XXXX XXXX has made many attempts to have the bank provide appropriate written approval for XXXX XXXX without success. The IP report showed 651 attempts to access the account over several weeks prior to attempts from 3 different states to gain access to the account. The banks lawyers ( XXXX ) did not believe the activity was unusual plus they stated their security system did not detect the unusual activity! We are seeking to recover the {$50000.00} plus legal and other fees from the bank prior to commencing litigation.
