I paid my lease in full to American Honda Finance XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and they have verified that it has been paid in full. They still remain on title as a lienholder. I contacted them numerous times since XX/XX/XXXX ( yes XXXX ). They emailed me an odometer statement which I filled out and sent back to them in XX/XX/XXXX and again in XX/XX/XXXX and again XX/XX/XXXX. They said they still havent received it and sent me another one. I sent it back again. I did this a XXXX time. It has been XXXX years, yes XXXX years! This lease was paid in full as I exercised my purchase option and paid it in full with certified funds on XX/XX/XXXX and I still have not yet been given a clear title. They still show a lien on my title. This car has been totalled and this has been a huge problem because my insurance company is unable to settle my claim because they still show that there is a lease against it ( when there is not ). This has been XXXX years!! I have called XXXX numerous times with extensive hold times ( hundreds of hours ). Then they keep transferring me from XXXX department to another. I have verified with every department that I have 100 % paid this vehicle off in full and am the owner outright. American Honda Finance XXXX has been terrible to work with. Their customer service is horrible. This is a simple issue and should not be delayed. They have received all of their money XXXX years ago. But I have not received my collateral. This is unjust, unfair and they should not be allowed to get away with this. I am a senior citizen and deserve protection from this scrupulous company. I paid every all of my monthly payments on time and paid the full lease buyout at the end. They are 100 % paid and there is no excuse for this.
