I applied for a personal loan in XX/XX/year>. XXXX sent me an approval letter. They asked my banking information which I provided, mind you now I never applied for a loan before nor had access to any of my money or bank account. That was controlled by my ex who was an abuser. I did exactly what they told me got to the XXXX XXXX or XXXX that was near the bank, buy money cards rub off the numbers and tell them the numbers. They gave me like 45 minutes to do this. They said that this was an act of trust. I complied, after all the money was in my account. I had no idea I was being scammed until the bank took my XXXX check for the fraudulent check. I had no idea what they were talking about and they basically laughed in my face and treated me like a criminal. I told them it was my ss check I needed to pay rent. Acouple months later I received a copy of the check. It was on a target check and my signature was forged. They returned the check why didn't they go after them. {$980.00} PLUS {$20.00} RETURN CHECK. It is illegal for anybody to touch anybody Social Security check unless it's authorized by a judge I just found this out a couple months ago I want my money that was unlawfully taken from me the only thing I'm guilty of is being naive and XXXX
